there are the helmet, and autograph collectors,

and the badges, some were brass for gate access, some were silver for pit and garage access

there are the programs and advertisments to collect

and the many badges for course workers and press

plus photos of the cars. One collector has a photo of every car but one, Herman Schurch had a car start but conk out in 1929 or 31, and no photo exists of it

But to get really nuts in your collecting, is to buy pieces of the race track, like the gates from the 1930's to the 60s. These hung at Garage #2 in the original Gasoline Alley area
